The leaves will stay green and grow, the bulb will just flower whenever it feels like it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;ve done it both ways. Technically you don&amp;#39;t have to put them into dormancy, people do that to cause them to bloom at a certain time and there is no other reason for doing so. So, I've never grown a seedling to a large-sized bulb.
